Awards of the Society:

Nishimaru-Tsuchiya International Award:
On the occasion of the World Congress for Microcirculation, this important award is given by the Japanese Society for Microcirculation to researchers in any country with outstanding achievements in the field of microcirculation research, who have thereby greatly contributed to the development of the Japanese Society for Microcirculation. The award consists of a certificate and a cash prize of USD 2000. The late Dr. Yasuyoshi Nishimatsu, Honorary President of the Japan College of Angiology, founded the Japan College of Angiology to initiate research based on the concept of body fluid circulation, and also served as the Honorary President of the 4th World Congress for Microcirculation (President: Masaharu Tsuchiya) held in Japan in 1987.

Society Encouragement Award:
The Society Encouragement Award was established to foster young researchers with the expectation of advances in the field of microcirculation and encouraging more active research in this field.
The award, consisting of a certificate and a cash prize of 100000 yen, is given to promising young researchers (who must be members of our Society) publishing high-quality studies contributing to progress in microcirculation research in the general presentations at annual meetings of our society.
